Map Visualization Using OpenFlashMaps

If you know Edward Tufte’s wonderful book The Visual Display of Quantitative Information you might already know the following visualization. The cool new thing is that it’s rendered in Flash using OpenFlashMaps – a new open source map visualization framework that I’m currently working on.

The data is taken from U.S. Census Bureau and shows the percentage of people living in poverty in 2006.

Visualization of Local Network Traffic

Just created a simple visualization to enhance my Processing experiences. The initial data is collected using Wireshark Network Protocol Analyzer. Each package network route is resolved via traceroute and then mapped using the free GeoLiteCity database by MaxMind.
